Feast of Tabernacles 2020 - Taupo
Located in the heart of the North Island of New Zealand lies one of the most iconic sights in the country; Great Lake Taupo! This is the site where God’s people will observe the Feast in 2020. Many successful feasts have been held here in the past and, when you see it for yourself, you will understand why! The town is big enough to offer a variety of supermarkets, restaurants, and activities, but small enough to maintain its feel of a retreat away from the busier areas of the country. The waterfront is only a short walking distance from most locations in Taupo, offering a serene background noise of the lake water making its way to the shoreline.
Services will be held at the Taupo Cosmopolitan Club, which is located in the heart of the Taupo town centre, and we plan to host several activities at the venue. Although there is no accommodation on site, there are plenty of hotels, motels and holiday homes available in and around Taupo that can be booked.
For those of you flying in from international areas, we recommend flying in to Auckland, hiring a car at the airport, and then driving the approximately three-and-a-half-hour journey to Taupo. If you require any recommendations about car hire or need any other practical assistance, be sure to let us know. We’re here to help and make your time here in New Zealand as smooth and enjoyable as possible!
